From Victoria’s Brass Monkey Brewing — formerly Moon Under Water — comes the Dry Side of the Moon lineup of non-alcoholic beers.
On Bay Street in Victoria, they’ve been brewing on-site at their brewpub since 2012. They fly under the radar, just making solid beers year after year. In 2023, they launched their non-alcoholic series to much praise. All of their beers use 100% organic Vancouver Island grown barley in the malt from Field Five Farm just outside Victoria. No added preservatives, no monkey business.
You can find the Dry Side of the Moon lineup in aisle #2 with our other non-alcoholic beverage options:
Pilsner
Classic flavours of spice and orange.
West Coast IPA
A dry-hopped IPA using a blend of Cascade, Amarillo, and Citra hops for a nice mix of tropical mango and passionfruit notes, plus bright and tangy notes of peach and citrus to finish fresh and easy going.
Hefeweizen
A German style lager with crisp, clean flavours and floral aromas. Brewed using 100% Vancouver Island grown barley and Czech hops.
Stout
Rich chocolate and coffee notes are balanced by roasted malt and a touch of hop bitterness, which is made from a blend of Island-grown barley and oats for a dark, smooth brew that delivers a robust flavour profile.
