Cultured Kombucha

Cultured Kombucha at Village Food Markets Sooke

Locally made in Victoria, Cultured Kombucha aims to excite your tastebuds while nourishing your body with beneficial enzymes and healthy bacteria.

After years of health issues herself, local founder Christine wanted to create a medicinal product that would be both gut-healing and good-tasting. She was sparked by the excitement for experimentation with brewing kombucha and trying new flavours and taste profiles. Brewed in the Rock Bay neighbourhood of Victoria, Cultured Kombucha is focused on making a delicious beverages inspired by the transformation that occurs during fermentation.

Originally, Cultured Kombucha was sold in a sustainable, eco-friendly way as a refill-only product, allowing customers to bring their own reusable containers to various local retailers. Then pandemic regulations demanded products be sold primarily as single-use drinks in a can.

The company sources ingredients locally and fresh in-season as much as possible, including its tea, fruits, and herbs. These beverages are made from all organic ingredients, filtered water, cane sugar, green tea, and kombucha culture.

You can find three unique flavour combos in 355ml cans in our front cooler:
