Nestled in Charlottetown, Cows Creamery has been crafting premium cheese and butter since 2006 as part of COWS. Originating in neighbouring Cavendish, COWS began in 1983 with a traditional family recipe. They grew from one ice cream shop to 13 locations across Canada, including two here in BC today.
With a commitment to quality and traditional methods, Cows Creamery only uses milk from small PEI farms. Their butters have a higher than usual 84% butter fat. Made by churning the cream slower and longer in traditional churns, this creates a much silkier taste and texture.
